Robert Prochaska
| Associate AIARobert’s fascination with the built environment began through his grandfather's work on the Deep Tunnel Project, the Dan Ryan Expressway, and the formerly-titled Sears Tower. Passionate for design from an early age, Robert began his career pursuing public and private residential spaces and landscapes, commercial interiors, and various adaptive reuse projects throughout New York City and Chicago.
While living in Brooklyn, Robert began to document public infrastructure and its role in shaping stereotypes of the built and natural environment. Robert continues to pursue a diverse range of projects based on their historical and cultural significance, potential for adaptive reuse, and the impact they will have on the natural environment.
Outside the studio, Robert explores how the public perceives and interacts with their local surroundings through photographic studies and exhibition design. You can find him in local bookstores and record shops actively growing his personal library.
