Katie Bailey
Katie is a new Chicago resident, working on her post-masters career in the City. She has had opportunities to participate in international conferences, co-presenting two research papers on the potential of utilizing passive DAC filters in high-density environments such as New York City.
Along with the technological aspects, she is interested in how architecture can critique how we collectively live. This was often a focus during her time at the University of Michigan, where she often delved into researching the topic. Katie is passionate about community-centric, sustainable design and residential housing.
She spends ample time outdoors—hiking, running, camping, swimming, and skiing; her most recent favorite swim was in Lake McDonald at Glacier National Park, Montana.
