Jackie Guataquira
Jackie Guataquira is a graphic designer, artist, and art educator based in Chicago. As a creative, she isn’t tied to one particular artistic medium, but design has always come naturally to her. After graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she focused on graphic design and museum studies, she found an opportunity to widen her educational and professional scope through the Art Education master's program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her passion for creativity, working with youth, social justice, and their intersections deepened during her time at SAIC thanks to the relationships fostered between like-minded faculty and peers.
In her free time, you can find her at the ceramic studio, listening to podcasts and engrossed in whatever project she’s working on.
