César Rodarte
| Assoc. AIABorn and raised in Texas, César grew up in the multicultural cross-border metropolis of El Paso. Witnessing the symbiosis of Juarez, MX, and El Paso sparked an interest in urban design early on.
César went on to pursue master’s degrees in both Architecture and Urban Design at Washington University in St. Louis. He completed his urban design thesis while living in Johannesburg, South Africa, researching how access to recreational spaces can act as a socio-economic armature for South African youth.
During graduate school, César traveled to Chicago multiple times to run the marathon. He was captured by the beauty of the city, and moved to Chicago after completing his studies. Since starting his career, César has worked in a variety of market sectors including digital infrastructure, master planning, civic, residential and commercial.
In his spare time, you can find him throwing the frisbee for his Australian Shepherd, watching English Premier League football, or traveling the world with his wife.
